601 Club Cafe Bar

Visited for a coffee, and then decided to go back later for lunch. Ordered 4 main meals - 2 x jacket potatoes, 1 x burrito, 1 x mushroom toastie, chips, a beer, a coffee and a tea. Drinks came out reasonable quickly, followed by one jacket potato. Several minutes later the second jacket arrived. Five more minutes passed and then the toastie arrived. Finally, when jacket potatoes had almost been eaten my burrito turned up. Damn, that burrito was small. No bigger than my thumb - and cost £7.50. Was about the size of a 'party' spring roll, or a couple of those frozen cocktail sausage rolls. The wrap had a strange texture too, like it was raw dough. Very disappointing.

Called in whilst visiting Louth, to what is obviously a popular venue. Amazing selection of fresh cakes, biscuits and chocolate, as well as a bewildering array of coffee options. Our flat whites were excellent, but we managed to resist the temptation of the cake. It's the little things that say so much about any business. Shared loos are no longer a rarity, but I was impressed that the one I visited in-store provided a range of free ladies' sanitary products. It was the first time I had encountered this, and what an excellent demonstration of how the owners and staff value their customers and their comfort. It speaks volumes that others should take inspiration from.

Nice shop, nice coffee too. Sadly food not good, asked for bacon ciabatta, bacon well done. Little did I know, the sandwich was premade bought in, in a bag... To the tune of £7! So couldn't have bacon well done, should have been told that when ordering, as I would have had something else. No check back either.
