Definitely a strong “stay far away” warning on this one. We're willing to revisit this if they try to work with us, it's not too late, but that's not looking likely. We bought a car this summer for $5k that was represented as being in good condition and reliable; the salesman was gushing over it. The check engine light came on literally the same day we bought it. Things only deteriorated from there. Right off the bat it required $4k in repairs to remain safely operational - just about everything was breaking or leaking. We reached out to the dealership to see if they would work with us (come on - the same DAY we buy it?); they indicated they would help somehow. So we approved the repairs - and then they ghosted us. So now we’re out $9k on this car (plus the money we had to drop on a rental for the week it was out of commission). Want to guess how long it lasted after that? 7 weeks. Then the clutch went out - entirely. Died on I-5. Completely inoperable. Had to get it towed. Quote for repairs: nearly $3k. “As is” in used car sales still doesn’t cover negligence or fraud under Oregon consumer protection laws (UTPA). We sent them a letter outlining this, all the repairs, etc., suggesting several reasonable remedies to make it right. No response. So now it's with the Better Business Bureau and Oregon DOJ consumer complaints division - still no response. Will see what comes next. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. It's been a stressful, expensive nightmare.
