Customer experiences
The quality of the massage itself was good, but unfortunately, I found it very difficult to relax because the technician spoke almost the entire time. The frequent conversation also caused the massage flow to be interrupted multiple times. Furthermore, some of the topics discussed, particularly those involving religious figures, made me uncomfortable. I was simply looking for a quiet, relaxing experience, and the chattiness was excessive
I had a wonderful experience at A Moment’s Peace from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and professional, and I was warmly welcomed when I arrived. The waiting area is beautifully serene—such a calming space—but I didn’t have to wait long before being taken back for my treatment. The room was peaceful and set the perfect tone for relaxation. My technician, Lulu, was fantastic—skilled, gentle, and made me feel completely at ease. I felt like I was in very competent hands the entire time and was able to fully relax and enjoy the experience. I highly recommend this spa and will definitely be returning!
I cannot recommend this place enough! They offered us a relaxing and comfortable space, great service, polite and engaging staff, and every experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment I emailed the staff, I was given utmost respect, helpfulness, and timely responses to set up a full spa day for myself and my mother. We both had lovely swedish massages, facials, mud wraps, and pedicures! Each person on the staff was so helpful and kind, and I look forward to the day I can return for another wonderful time of pampering and relaxation.
I have been coming to this salon for over 15 years to have many different procedures and hair treatments done without any adverse issues. Yesterday I had scheduled a dermaplaning and eyebrow wax along with hair cut and color. Disclaimer, this was my first time doing a professional dermaplane session so I was not sure what to really expect and I really wished I could of asked more questions about the facial products they use as I have an allergy to common ingredients. That aside the session seemed like it went well and the technician was very nice however, I woke up this afternoon and had to immediately go to walk in clinic due to severe angioedema over my entire face and my eyelids were so swollen I could barely open them to see. I ended up getting a steroid injection to get the swelling down and had to call out of work. I am just miserable. I just want to advise the salon when working with clients who fill out the questionaires and report they have skin allergy/sensitivities that all the products that will be used on their face during the service are discussed during consultation so that a better informed decision can be made about proceeding or not. The technician used 3 or 4 creams/gels on my face and I had no idea what they were or what was in them. I don't want this to happen to someone else. First and last time I will get dermaplaning done.
