We stopped here for lunch on a cold and wet Friday, and are very glad we did. We had the set menu which was great value at £19.95 for two courses and £24.95 for three. The food was superb, definitely one the best pub meals I've had in a long time. My wife had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was not only delicious but huge. I also had a couple of pints of real ale from a good selection of local cask ales. We look forward to returning.

Meal out with my family to celebrate my birthday. Recommended by friends and wasnt disappointed! Had the steak pie and it's the best I've had in a long time! Staff were lovely. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Myself and my husband went for Sunday lunch. Welcoming and friendly. Staff were polite and we didn't wait long for drinks or our food. I had the pork belly roast and it was probably the best roast iv had. It wasn't to fatty, just the right amount of everything. It was delicious. I also went on to have the warm chocolate brownie and salted caramel ice-cream.... Again, I really enjoyed It. We can't wait to come back for more.

We organised a Christmas meal for 50 people at the Abbots Mitre. I cannot the pub highly enough. Steve was fantastic and coped with last minute alterations calmly with his usual sense of humour! The service was fantastic throughout and the food was excellent. Thoroughly recommend coming here!
