After witnessing the kinds of special events Maggie and her team put together, booking her as my planner was a no-brainer. We got engaged in Ireland on July 12, 2021 and I booked her when I landed back in Nashville a week after. There was one catch to my wedding that I told Maggie upfront - it was going to be in New York City. I thought it would be a challenge for her and that, maybe, she would hand the wedding off to a New York planner - but she rose to the occasion and exceeded all expectations. Not only did she plan a New York City wedding from Nashville, she flew up to NYC and NJ with my husband and I to tour venues. She went above and beyond. She creates custom plans depending on the couple and their needs - I knew from the moment I got engaged that I would need someone to hold my hand through the whole process, and that is what she did. I chose the plan that had lots of meetings, and Maggie also designed my graphics and invitations! Any anxiety I felt during about 15 months of planning would just dissolve after just speaking to Maggie. It seriously felt like weight came off my shoulders after every meeting. Anything that was stressing me out or anything I wanted to change that I thought would be huge was no big deal to her. Her cool, calm, collected, kind yet determined demeanor made me feel like everything was going to be just fine. And it was more than just fine - it was brilliant. Annsley took over the month of my wedding and, just like Maggie, relieved all of my stress. I clearly remember my family and other guests going up to Maggie, Annsley, and Jess telling them how great the wedding turned out - they couldn't believe Ad Astra wasn't a NY/NJ-based company! Long story short, I would book Ad Astra Events for any special event again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend them enough. They are well-loved by vendors, guests, and their couples for a reason. Not only did they plan this amazing three-day event in the New York City area, they helped me keep my sanity in the process. We are forever grateful.

Ad Astra was amazing to work with! We had Dana as our lead planner for our wedding but communicated often with Maggie during the early planning phase. We did a lot of the planning on our own within the year prior to the event (10.14.23), but Ad Astra took over within the last 2 weeks to ensure everything came together. They eased a ton of stress with event day logistics and we appreciated their help. We could not have done it without them and they ensured the event started on time, ended on time along with timely clean up. They are professional, organized, and know what they're doing. They also managed a large flip (from ceremony to reception) in under an hour! The layout for ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour was exactly what we envisioned. They emailed and wrangled all the vendors, so we didn't have to do it! Highly recommend if you're considering an event coordinator. They're also fun and great people to work with!

Ad Astra was literally a lifesaver when planning our wedding! Maggie and her team were incredibly responsive, BEYOND helpful, and very detailed. I could not recommend them any higher! Our flower vendor had to drop out one month before our wedding, and Maggie was able to find us another vendor and sign a new contract within the day.
