Affordable Roofing and Gutters of Florida Inc

I tried to do business with this company. My mother dealt with Tim and had rave reviews for him. After it rained I called because I had water pouring through a light fixture and 9 lines of water on the ceiling. After I told her ( I think her name was Michelle) she took my information. She then told me I was all set and the estimator would contact me. She told me to give him at least a month. I understand that after the hurricane there are long waiting times and I do not have a problem waiting my turn. I asked her what I should do about the water coming into the house. Was there a way to get someone over to at least fix it so I did not have water coming in the house. Her response was I should get some buckets. She said she knew it sounding strange but that it really was going to stop raining soon. From my understanding this company does awesome work and are very good at what they do, but unfortunately I did not get the awesome service that apparently others got. I understand that because of the hurricane that many if not all roofing companies are very overworked. I had some tell me that they were very sorry but that they would not be able to get to me for a week or two and even recommending a few other places to call because they know how important it is to get at least a temporary fix done right away. She told me to get some buckets!

I recently had my roof done. The contract clearly stated $14,000 plus plywood that got replaced for $95 each. When my roof was finished Tim told me I owed $14,980 + $95 for one piece of plywood. I called to ask why the change and they told me the lady that does billing was in a meeting and would call me back. She never did. Tim also promised that he would leave a bundle of shingles in case there was any repairs that needed to be done. I was here when my roof was done and there was two bundles left over that I’m assuming I was charged for and they took with them. Very disappointed for the amount of money paid that the few promises made were not kept. We also paid cash and immediately.

We had some missing shingles and a cracked vent pipe boot that needed repair after Ian. Since we had Affordable install the roof 9 years ago we called them and asked for service. Not only did they come in a timely manner but they also made all the repairs and didn't charge us because the boot was still under warranty. We couldn't have asked for better service from a roofing company, especially in the aftermath of a hurricane. They are the best!
