My niece was getting married and the Afrique Fashion House team made a tie for me. My niece’s husband is Nigerian, and we wanted to honor tradition by wearing authentic pieces made from Nigerian fabric. So grateful for the expert craftsmanship of the tie. The wedding was this past weekend, and from the time I stepped out of my hotel room, EVERYONE kept telling me how beautiful it is and asking where I got it from. I even got compliments from strangers who walked up to me as they saw the tie from a distance. What wonderful memories I have from the weekend...and though the tie was made to honor time and tradition for the wedding, I will certainly be wearing the tie again...and again... Very grateful...thank you again Afrique Fashion House.

I love, love, love, Afrique Fashion House located in Upper Marlboro, MD. Today was my first time visiting and purchasing there. The professionalism and personable characters is SUPERB! I was greeted coming through the door. I felt like I had known Ms. Adwoa and Ms. Carolyn for years. They connected with my needs and were very attentive to my likes and dislikes without being pushy to purchase. I also observed how they connected with other customers male and female alike. A few customers came in and they knew them by name. The atmosphere of the boutique is very community oriented. Their customers were also personable and kind. The selection of apparel is BEAUTIFUL and HANDSOME! I love the material quality and designs. The custom made and already made apparel is worth the price. Afrique Fashion House GOT IT GOING ON!

I have wanted an African garment for a long time, and decided that now was the time to look for a shop that could tailor to my petite body. I searched Google, and Afrique Fashion House in Upper Marlboro, MD House looked like the one to try. I checked out their website and Instagram, and liked what i saw. When I went to Afrique Fashion House, I was greeted warmly and given a tour of the space that is holding many wonderful fashion pieces for women and men. There's a great selection of fabrics (and jewelry) to chose from. The owner of Afrique was there to help with fabric choice, style elements, and measurements of the long jacket I selected. Then I realized that I recognised her from a great Afrique fashion show that I saw on a local tv station! My jacket, which turned out to be beautiful, was picked up just in time for an event. I'm very pleased with the service and the product provided by this business, and will be returning for more fashion pieces.

I bought several garments from Adwoa, the boutique owner. She altered small and large garments to give me a custom fit, like the top/blouse shown in the picture. The boutique has an array of clothing and accessories available daily and will do their best to accommodate your needs.
