Amazing service from David! Had such a great experience with David from Garage Door! He showed up right on time, super friendly and professional. He quickly figured out the problem with my garage door, explained everything in simple terms, and fixed it perfectly. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing and actually cares about the customer. My door works smoother than ever now — and he even checked everything to make sure it was safe and running right. It’s rare to find someone so honest and reliable these days. Thank you, David! Highly recommend him and the Garage Door team to anyone who needs quality, fast, and friendly service!

The technician arrived at my residence in Abingdon, MD on November 3rd, pursuant to Invoice No. 20865. He proceeded to charge me $385 for what he claimed was a brand-new spring, in addition to $250 for labor, bringing the total to $635 before tax. After Maryland’s 6% sales tax, the final amount due was $673.10, which I promptly remitted to AG Garage Door on 11/03/25 under reference number WFCTO0ZG4ZWFB. However, on November 16th—barely thirteen days later—the garage door ceased functioning once again. I attempted to contact the technician three separate times and even left a voicemail, yet I received no response whatsoever. Consequently, I was forced to hire a different company to address the issue. They charged me only $300 and, to my astonishment, informed me that A.G. Garage Door had installed an incorrect and evidently used spring. The spring they installed, a 234x2x27, is only capable of lifting a 120-lb door. The proper spring should have been a 262x2x35, designed to lift a 160-lb door. In other words, A.G. Garage Door egregiously misled me and effectively defrauded me of my hard-earned $673.10. I am now compelled to pay an additional company to rectify their negligent and deceptive work. If it were possible, I would award them zero stars for their unscrupulous and exploitative business practices.

Hey Josh, Awesome job on the garage fix! You got there fast, sorted out the noisy door issue in no time, and had it running smooth as ever. No pushy sales, just solid work and a few maintenance tips that really helped. Best handyman we’ve had – 5 stars! Will definitely recommend you. Thanks

I can’t even begin to express how incredibly frustrated I am with AG Car Garage. I called them because my garage doors were opening unevenly, and I needed new sensors. Instead of actually fixing the problem, they made it worse. The technician they sent out spoke terrible English, so communication was an absolute nightmare from the start. The first thing he said was that the “solution” to my uneven garage doors was to replace both springs. He charged me $350 for springs that I could’ve bought at Home Depot for $40. On top of that, he added labor charges AND a surcharge for the springs. After he finished the job, I tested it out – and guess what? The garage door was STILL unbalanced. His excuse? “Give it a few days because the springs are new.” So, I waited. Days later, the problem was still there, and now my garage door was getting more and more stressed. It was clear that nothing had been fixed. I called them back, and they sent another technician. Again, bad English, so communication was still a huge challenge. Same issue, same lack of resolution. I tried to be patient, but when I explained the issue for the THIRD time to their customer service (who at least spoke decent English), they sent a THIRD technician. Guess what? Same story. The guy couldn’t fix anything and tried to sell me more replacement parts that I didn’t need. This company is an absolute scam. They don’t diagnose the actual problem – they just try to upsell you on parts you don’t need. And their repair team? A complete joke with communication barriers that make the whole process even more painful. Don’t waste your time or money with them. There are plenty of other garage companies out there that actually know what they’re doing and can communicate properly. AG Car Garage is a disaster.

A.G Garage Door is a garage builder.
