Absolutely Awful Experience – TOTAL SCAM! We initially contacted One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning about a year ago and were convinced to sign up for their monthly membership program ($17.99/month) under the promise of prioritized service and peace of mind. It’s been nothing but the opposite. Our first major issue came when our main water line broke. They sent someone out who was helpful and professional, and we were ready to move forward with their estimate. But once he called his manager to relay the details, everything fell apart. The manager refused the job without even seeing it — for a reason so absurd even their own technician shook his head in disbelief. The tech was clearly embarrassed by his manager’s unwillingness to help. In the end, we had to pay a more competent and professional company to come and fix the problem properly. Fast forward 9 months: our air conditioner broke. Despite our first bad experience, I decided to give them another chance. I left a voicemail — no response. I called again and finally reached someone, only to be told that our monthly membership only covers plumbing… which is infuriating considering they refused to fix our water main when we needed it most! And we were never clearly told this limitation when we signed up. This company took our money every month, offered nothing in return, and provided absolutely no reliability or accountability. Their membership program feels like a SCAM, and their customer service is non-existent. They basically made free money off of us and offered no help in return when we needed them the most. They were very motivated to sell us on a monthly membership but let us down completely when it came to our water main and returning my call. I’ll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to stay far away. You’re better off calling literally anyone else.
