Alicja has been the best professional I could ever hope for to support me in my therapy journey and I found her Brainspotting technique working perfectly in tandem with talk-therapy. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety when I first met Alicja and through our work together I came to realize that not only most of my anxiety dissipated, but that I could also make sense of negative experiences and even find meaning in them. Alicja has a very warm and empathic counseling style, using deep listening techniques that make you feel understood but she is also very good at questioning and challenging your assumptions which take you gently but surely outside of your comfort zone, where real growth happens. For me, Alicja is one of the best psychoterapists in Lisbon, hands down.

I cannot recommend Alicja's services enough. As someone completely new to therapy, I was understandably nervous about my first session. However, Alicja immediately put me at ease with her warmth and professionalism. It's incredible to think how much progress we made in such a short amount of time. Each session felt like a breakthrough. And Alicja's use of Brainspotting, which I had never heard of, was particularly impressive. However, it didn't feel like she was "applying a technique" on me but rather, it was a great mix of science and genuine human connection.
