While visiting with our daughter and grandson here in Louisville, we wanted to help our grandson with his library summer pass and this was a location on the pass that was free. WOW what am amazing awesome place. We had a guided tour and the young lady that took us through the factory was so knowledgeable and very pleasant with a calm pleasant speaking tone. And very patience with questions from my 11 year old grandson. Who was so interesting and engaged. If you have a chance and are looking for an interesting educational place for the whole family you really need to go and take a tour. Small gift shop. Love the t-shirts they have for sale only $10.00 each. I have one from 7 years ago and I still wear it. Just love it.

If you are taking a trip near Louisville, I highly recommend a stop. The staff was professional and friendly, and the museum is decent size (especially for free). Extremely well put together and design to be both kid and adult friendly. The tour was also hands on and designed to be educational for both kids and adults. Great way to teach kids how to be a little more accepting of others and to understand how we can use tools for the vision impaired in out own lives.

Ironically the power was off when we visited and we couldn't see anything. A museum guide was kind enough to sit down with us tell us about the printing house history and explain braille. He also had a great suggestion across the river for finding fossils. We're happy with our visit.

So thankful to have visited this historical landmark! The executives took the time to come and meet the group from Ohio State. They gave us a wonderful tour and were very throrough! Thank you for being such great hosts.
