Had the pleasure to visit this location do to a Football recruiting event. Arrived early and the staff was so pleasant and helpful. They were able to assist and make our stay wonderful. "Kari" was so polite and very informative. "Jolene" made our day and was very professional. These 2 along with the breakfast staff are hard to find and keep in today's world of customer service. I would give a 6 star if able due to their assistance for our stay. I would recommend this location to anybody new visiting the Ames area and attending the ISU football facilities.. FYI, if your attending the game- transportation to the game is easy with multiple providers. Transportation after is difficult and a 1.5 mile hike back to hotel.. Breakfast they provide is wonderful. Clean rooms and building..

Great place to stay for football game. Hotel did great to accommodate the large crowd from the football game. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially those working Saturday morning. Breakfast was hot and well stocked. I always appreciate when there is biscuits and gravy. TV service could use an upgrade but otherwise no complaints.

This is such a wonderful hotel. The people couldn't be nicer. So accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we got into the room when we needed to. Breakfast was just amazing. Such a huge selection! Room was so pretty and so clean. AND it was huge! Our dogs were welcomed and they made it clear that the WHOLE hotel was pet friendly! Can't say enough good things about this hotel.
