MiriamLovely Mother's day lunch! Staff were attentive and so welcoming. Food was just perfect. Beautiful place and great atmosphere! Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Thank you so much for making today such a wonderful Mother’s Day! Complementary drink and little present for all mums was also a very nice touch and made me feel super special. :) We only had food, didn’t stay overnight so can’t review that!

Our dog was treated very well and he really enjoyed himself. He particularly liked the underfloor heating in the bar area! A thoroughly enjoyable weekend!

Rooms very cold but did to she of the property and the heaters get it nice and comfortable quickly. Wonderful stay. The pub itself is lovely and charming, lots of nice snugs and rooms too explore and relax in with wonderful cocktails. Breakfast was delicious too! Great selection of dishes!
Alan DavisFood as cold as the welcome... Such a shame to say that the Sunday lunch here was awful, but it was. There is a lot to suggest that it should be good - the ingredients seemed good quality, the offering and pricing seems right... But the reality is a lukewarm meal, missing many items advertised on the menu, served by people who seem to resent your presence. My advice would be, 'don't waste your money'.
