My two children have been going here for many years. Dr. Hersberger and her team are great. Yes at times when I have left voicemails, I don't get a reply back. Overall I've been very happy with the services here. They are quick and patient with my two boys and communicate everything to me.

Office staff was not clear. After my child had surgery on her mouth, saying she had 8 cavities and needed capped, had to extract 2 teeth, was put to sleep for all this. On 6 month cleavning and check up front office told me when I arrived that I needed a cardiologist clearance before her teeth could be cleaned never was told this at first appointment- she was able to get them cleaned that day after all I didn’t need clearance talked with her PCP - just saying front office and telephone reception could be better

I’m going to give my review. I’ve never been to the office. I was calling so that I could schedule an appointment. The lady at front desk picked up and asked if she could place me on hold which I said yes to. The phone then hangs up. I call back 5 times and the phone was not picked up once. I work in a dental office and this is just unacceptable. Doctors please know the type of people you are hiring to represent your business.

We had an appointment at Youth Smiles Dental Center today at 1:45 p.m. We arrived on time, filled out the paperwork, and everything seemed calm. There were only two patients ahead of us. However, another family that came after us was called in quickly, and their children were done even before my daughter was seen. My daughter has special needs, and long waits can be very challenging for her. She began to feel overwhelmed, and after nearly an hour without any updates or communication, I decided to leave. What felt even more disappointing was receiving a message afterward with a “6-month follow-up” as if nothing had happened. I understand that clinics have busy days, but when working with children—especially those with special needs—empathy, clear communication, and respect for each family’s time make all the difference. I’m sharing this experience to encourage better organization and sensitivity toward families facing additional challenges.
