I went to Avani Spa for my 30th birthday, and while the staff was very nice and welcoming, the experience overall was disappointing. I paid for the Deep Tissue Massage, but it was not deep tissue at all — the therapist was kind, but it felt more like a light skin rub than an actual massage. I’ve honestly had much better massages at pretty much any other spa. To make things worse, they called me in late, so my 50-minute session turned into about 35 minutes. I also tried the Deep Therapy Foot Mask, which sounded luxurious, but it ended up just being a thick layer of lotion for about 15 minutes — not what I expected. The staff was friendly, but for the price, I’d recommend skipping the upgrades and just going elsewhere for a real deep tissue massage or a regular pedicure. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go back — I left feeling pretty let down.

I stayed at the Abbey for a wedding, and decided to take advantage of the spa during my stay. I had a great tranquility massage by Kim. It was not a deep tissue massage, and I feel the pressure was perfect for a relaxing experience. I wasn’t planning on taking advantage of the other amenities but decided to after Kim suggested I check them out. I ended up spending hours simply just relaxing, enjoying a cup of tea, utilizing the various rooms and ordering lunch (a Ceaser salad and French fries) by the pool. It was a much needed unwinding “me time” and I would definitely recommend!

The spa was horrendous please do not go there. My manicure paint for my nails fell off in 2 days. Also on the men's side the steam room didn't work as well as the sauna and all they could say was we're are getting a part. The pool was outdated and my husband's massage was partial instead of full body. For the amount of money we spent this was very sad that the service did not match!!

The hot tub is not working again. Now trying to make it a cold plunge. I have been going to this Spa for over 2 years and there is always something broken. They should not of made a salt room by the main pool it should have stayed a steam room. No one uses the salt room. Also no yoga classes again. Very disappointed in this facility.
