Martin provided an end-to-end service re-designing and then fitting my new kitchen. Martin listened to what I was trying to achieve and came up with an excellent design (which none of the usual guys could come near - believe me, I checked) which met all my priorities. We agreed a time to fit which was kept to, and the fitters and other tradesmen were 5 star - clean, hard working, great quality. I genuinely could not have asked for better service. Considering how stressful a complete new kitchen can be this was a breeze. I wish I could get Martin and his team for all the jobs for my house!

We were struggling with our kitchen design for a large extension and the usual kitchen company ideas were uninspired. On a friend's recommendation we asked Martin to come over and speak to us then prepare a design proposal. He went away to consider our plans and his ideas, then returned to us in person to present his design - which was far better than anything else we had seen in terms of concept, detail and ideas of how best to use the space and we loved it. Martin offered us "design only" (you pay to get copies of the plans to use elsewhere) or "design and install" service costings. Ultimately we paid for design only - to purchase copies of the plans from him to then use an alternate supplier - but only because our builder who was already engaged was tied to a separate supplier from the ones Martin works with (on reflection - would prefer to have insisted on using Martin's suppliers!). Overall the design quality, level of service and engagement with Martin from start to finish at Baptie Design was excellent and I have been recommending them ever since.

What we love about Martin is his ability to turn space into something artistic and bespoke: you step back and admire it aesthetically but it is also practical. There is nothing about the kitchen he designed for us that does not look good, and work for a family of four.
