I had an appointment scheduled nine months in advance for an IUD insertion (that was the earliest available). After rearranging my work schedule and waiting all this time, the doctor told me he was “not comfortable” giving me an IUD because I have never had a baby. This is extremely frustrating considering the clinic had already agreed to the procedure when I booked the appointment. Nothing was accomplished today, and when I expressed my frustration, the staff didn’t seem to understand why I was upset. I’ve been coming here for three years, but the doctor’s reasoning was, “Well, I don’t know you, so I’m not comfortable.” He continued giving excuse after excuse rather than honoring my right to make decisions about my own body. After this experience, I would not recommend this office as a gynecologist.

This is such a wonderful clinic. I’ve been going for years and it’s answered a lot of prayers for me. They have doctors of every sort. Their clinic manager, Megan, is the best, very helpful and very kind. The building is beautiful. Don’t hesitate. It’s one amazing place and such a great resource for the Charleston area.
