Could do with a little more teabags and milk in the room but lovely bottles of water in the room and was given bottles when we left which was a nice touch. Nice breakfast with really friendly good service. The rooms were well presented. |The doors to the rooms slam shut quite loudly so a sign would be good to tell people.
Liz SA lovely pre-Christmas stay. |The pub was very busy but, apart from working out where to check in, that was not a problem just a jolly, friendly atmosphere. |The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, this cannot be overstated ā possibly the busiest time of year but we were always pleasantly surprised with every interaction with part of the team, so welcoming and friendly. |Nice, large, airy room with all the amenities plus some well thought-out out treats (snacks) and you can get a little flask of fresh milk from the bar. ||The was a note about the windows not being able to be updated due to something like Heritage rules and there were ear plug provided in the bedside table but we didnāt find noise a problem at all. ||We dined in (booked when we checked in) and it was SUCH a good meal, my only complaint would be that it was too hard to decide what to pick from the great choices on the menu. |To manage expectations - donāt think of it as pub food as it really is more of a good restaurant quality, just happens to be in the same building as a pub. The price reflects this too ā Iāve seen some comments saying itās expensive for pub food but itās much better than that so reasonably priced. |Breakfast was excellent too, and on till 11am which is always a bonus! |Weād happily stay again, and dine in.

Ian Westlake-GuyWe could not fault The Bath Arms for our evening meal. Good menu with great choice. Food arrived, hot, tasty and plenty of it. We had the baked Camembert to share to start. I had the steak n mushroom pie which was fantastic, my wife had the belly pork. Both fabulous and filling too. The service couldnāt be faulted, we came away full and happy, strongly recommend
