Baymont by Wyndham Cave City

We traveled 7 hours from Canada to see the Ark Encounter. This place was very cost-effective and reasonably priced. If you’re not too picky, it’s more than acceptable. Some reviews mentioned damp floors — our room was a bit damp too, but running the air conditioner continuously solved the issue. The hotel staff were all kind and helpful. However, when we asked for extra towels, they only brought three even though there were five of us in the room. Breakfast was very simple. They offered cereal, coffee, a waffle machine, packaged bread, bananas, apples, yogurt, and packaged boiled eggs. Our family was satisfied and had a good meal. There’s also an outdoor pool, and our kids had a great time there. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Ark parking lot, but it’s a manageable distance. If you’re looking for a good value-for-money hotel, this place is a great option. But if you’re hoping for something a bit nicer, there are two other hotels nearby you might want to check out.

Older hotel, kept clean. Jenny was the nice lady checking me in. I had three rooms reserved, she was able to move one of my rooms to a King, no extra charge. Very nice person. There is a Mexican restaurant next door.. Awesome food.

We had an unusual, ie odd experience. The room was adequate, clean, and extremely conveniently located next to the entrance of the Ark Experience and a very good Mexican restaurant. The weird thing was the room was damp. Extremely. The bed sheets felt as if they came out of the dryer 20 minutes too soon and the floor wss wet. I used the room's iron to actually iron the sheets dry (carefully) and VOILÁ! Damp sheets issue solved. The floor on the other hand ..... Wear shoes! Won't be back.
