Please be careful before hiring Athena Larin-Larouche. She took our real estate case, and she charged fees for work that did not help us to solve our problem and protect our rights. She seems very incompetent working with real estate matters. We feel that we were left alone.

Absolute trash service. From the receptionist, to the owner Pierre McMartin, who rudely hung up in my face as I was telling him I do not feel comfortable with my lawyer Andreanne Breton as she has literally made 20 typos in the law suit draft, forgot to add the most important part of my law suit in the draft, screwed up the timeline, is very soft against the people we are suing, omitted important details in my lawsuit several time, and constantly not paying attention to any of my emails. She had also served the letter of intent to the wrong party, making me wait 3 months for a response that never came because she did not serve the right people. She also charged me for every email she responded to me where I was fixing her mistakes.... Of course we will have 20 email exchanges a week when I am constantly correcting you and your associates work... They aren't legitimate emails that constitute being charged for. I spoke to her boss Pierre McMartin today voicing my concerns very politely stating if he can have a talk with her to pay more attention, instead of having a talk with her, he rudely said well then don't have us represent you find a new lawyer, and hung up in my face. I definitely don't recommend this place. Even the receptionist is rude when you call. I have several lawyers in other fields in Ontario and none of them behave in this way. After all of this, they actually had the audacity to send me an invoice saying I owe them $1088 after I have already given them $2750 and she couldn't even get me a reimburse on my rental.
