Water was hot, linen appeared to be clean and the room door locked! No coffee in the room and the television is only cable. The wifi worked really well. Don't count on the free breakfast to fill you up. As for the location, there is a small mall close and a great family owned restaurant right next door. Overall, you get what you pay for and if you just need a weekend for a hockey tournament this place will do the trick. Just don't expect the amenities of a big name hotel.

We have been working in Carling and stayed here at the Best Value Inn Parry Sound. What a great experience. Indoor heated pool. We were in it every night. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are great! Always willing to help and answer any questions you may have.. especially Eddy at the front desk. Its in a great part of town as the plaza next door has a bowling alley and game zone, grocery store, gas station, multiple fast food options and a restaurant. All in all a great experience!

My experience at This Inn & Suites was Short. Although the staff is super friendly and kind, the room me and my husband stayed in was gross. The room looked as if it was not properly cleaned, there was tooth paste splater on the bathroom mirror, conditioner bottle that's already been used was re places on the counter, stains on the pillows and top sheets, finger prints and smudges on the fridge and microwave!, the carpet had not been vaccumed crumbs on the floor, coffee condiments left in the ice bucket that had been already opened and used.... all together I would not stay again but it was a place to stay for one night. As a house keeper myself I was beyond baffled on the room cleaning! Do better 🙏🏻

Kids loved the pool! Place has potential and you can imagine how grand it was in its hayday. Cost of a last minute stay was $200. For $200 a night I expect a very comfortable stay. This place doesn't quite hit the mark. They need to focus on generally cleanliness and upkeep or the quality will continue to decline. The sheets were clean but some of the bedding, towels and carpets were stained. Invest in new bedding when needed. Invest in continuing upgrades etc. But most importantly make sure the common areas and halls are clean, and detail the rooms! At least once a week handrails, walls, doors etc should be wiped down. Clean the halls and stairwells as often as the rooms to add to the general feeling of comfort for your guests. My son noticed a sock under one of the beds in our room. More attention to detail is needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Owner needs to make sure they arent cutting corners or the place will continue to decline.
