» Customer Experiences:
First I want to say that the staff was friendly and courteous and I appreciated that. That said, this was a terrible hotel experience. The room had ants, crawling on the bathroom sink and counter, on the nightstand, even in the bed. The hot tub did not work at all. The water in the room would get warm but not hot. The room was dirty. There were stains on the furniture and cigarette burns. I had booked two nights but checked out the first morning. I asked and received a full refund for both nights. I got no sleep at all and only hope I’m not bringing ants home with me in my bags. I was on the phone at 1:30 a.m. trying to find a different hotel but the town was sold out. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
It's a perfectly ok place to stay for work and just need a place to stay overnight. Rooms and beds were clean but there was a small piece of carpet ripped up in a small corner near where the tile meets the carpet from the front door. Lighting in the room was minimal and the desk light didn't work so it was kinda challenging doing paper work. The shower fixture didnt have much, if any pressure, on the normal setting but was ok on the massage setting but that was only 3 streams of water so, again, challenging to shower also but not necessarily a deal breaker. The door lock panel looked to have been broken and not fixed properly, had to manually manipulate the door to get all doors to lock. Not a bad place to stay at all, just small inconveniences and a visual that I would rather not deal with.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and the look of the hotel need to be updated and upgraded. There is no elevator and I don't remember that being on the website when the reservation was made. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not "WOW"! While I understand that there are workers who stay during the week for the jobs they are working on, it seemed that there were a number of folks just hanging about all weekend.
