Big Sky Yoga Retreats

Take me back ! What a fabulous vacation -Everything from the packing list to the daily schedule was easy and well thought out which meant , we women on the trip had very little to figure out , and could truly enjoy this magical spot . The riding and yoga accommodated all levels. The accommodations were cozy and clean . The staff both at the ranch and the retreat coordinators were warm and welcoming . Definitely my kind of vacation !

My intention for the week was “I am here, I am grounded” — and that intention came to life through every moment of this retreat. Margaret and Caitlin led such a beautiful yoga practice — cozy, grounding, and soulful, often flowing in front of a big crackling fireplace that made the space feel like home. Mandy’s round pen session was deeply moving; it’s hard to put into words how powerful the connection with the horses was. Horses truly heal. Kathy’s mindfulness wine tasting was another highlight — fun, lighthearted, and yet another gentle reminder to slow down and be present. The ranch itself is breathtaking, and the horseback riding through Montana’s wide-open beauty was unforgettable. The combination of yoga and horsemanship was the perfect balance of grounding and freedom. Experiencing this alongside my mom, cousin, and aunt made it even more special — the perfect girls’ trip centered on connection, healing, and joy. I left feeling present, calm, and inspired.

I love Big Sky Yoga Retreats and I will continue to go until I can no longer mount a horse or do a downward dog! Here’s why: I love— Big Sky’s Team: Margaret, Caitlin, and, their recent addition Mandy Nine Quarter Circle Ranch The wildlife we see The new friends I make there who touch places in my heart that I didn’t know existed The horses I ride (sooooo well trained) The food (they manage all my food sensitivities) The wranglers, the kitchen staff, the family that owns the ranch and Nancy (who manages all the paperwork that I mangle) It’s so dark and quiet at night that I sleep like a baby The shower water is hot! I love that after a ride at that altitude That I come away a better rider and more in touch with my animal-whispering upbringing That I’m going to age well because Caitlin and Margaret have made my body stronger, more flexible, and all those joints that don’t age well are working great because of them.
