For many years, I've left salons feeling a heck of a lot worse than when I went in. After consistent bad haircuts from different stylists, I started cutting my own hair. I recently had a work event where I wanted my hair to look a little more put together, so I booked an appointment with Ashlyn. The process was totally different than I had experienced before. After making my appointment over the phone, I received an online intake form where I was asked about not only my hair, but the best ways Ashlyn could make sure I was comfortable while I was there (lighting, noise level, conversation preferences). When I got there, it was the same thing. She asked real questions about my hair, any concerns I had with it, and what I was hoping for. Ashlyn is very personable and easy to talk to. I felt instantly welcomed and ended up leaving with a haircut I not only didn't cry about for days, but actually liked. I would 100% recommend this salon.

Today I got my first haircut in years and literally couldn’t be happier. I went and saw Cass today and she did an absolutely phenomenal done. She’s sweet and so easy to vibe with, plus the salon was so cute and smelled amazing. This is definitely going to be my go to salon for all my hair and hair care needs. She taught me so many cool tips and tricks to get my desired style as well and sharing knowledge and recommendations on products which was so super helpful. 20/10 satisfied with everything, customer service top tier, amazing quality everything and the best scalp massage I’ve ever experienced. Cass is so incredible at what they do! They’re the first hair stylist I’ve ever had who genuinely cares about their clients. She really listens to what people want, while still bringing honesty and expertise to the table, which is rare and SO appreciated. I love that they’re not afraid to say if something won’t work and take the time to explain why. That kind of care and integrity is exactly what sets them apart from any hair salon I’ve ever been to. Most people walk away from a salon disappointed because no one had that honest conversation, but Cass makes sure the result fits the person and their hair. I’ve never consistently taken care of my hair until I started seeing Cass, and now I’m obsessed. I’ve already learned so much and I actually look forward to hair care now! Finding Black Rose was a game-changer. Thank you for everything you do, Cass!
