We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Bluegrass Executive Transportation for our bourbon tour. I booked everything through Chris, the owner, who was incredibly responsive and made planning almost suspiciously easy. Like, “what’s the catch?” easy. Spoiler, there wasn’t one. We had just one tour scheduled ahead of time and let our driver, Casey, take the wheel, literally and figuratively. That was hands-down the best decision we made. Casey knows the area like the back of his hand and built a perfect day around his experience and our vibe. If there’s a particular distillery you really want to visit, especially on a weekend, book well in advance. But if you’re flexible, let Casey do his thing. You won’t regret it. He even made sure we started the day right with a stop for some absolutely unreal sausage biscuits. If you're doing the southern route, this isn’t a suggestion, it’s a must. Casey’s recommendations throughout the day were on point, and everything ran so smoothly that all we had to do was relax, learn, and drink good bourbon. One of our favorite stops was Limestone Ranch Distillery. It felt far less commercial and gave us a more personal, one-on-one tasting experience. If you’re on the fence about booking with Bluegrass Executive, stop overthinking it. This is the way to see bourbon country, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.

During our recent trip to Louisville for a two day bourbon tour of the various distilleries, we had the opportunity to have Chris as our driver. Chris is very knowledgeable of the area and the distilleries. He had many contacts into these communities as well as restaurant suggestions during our 2 day outing. Not only is Chris informed about the area, he is a bourbon connoisseur which I found helpful when making a few selections during the tour. He certainly helped make our tour complete. I will certainly use Chris and his expertise for my next bourbon tour trip to the area. Additionally, I have already recommended him to some friends who will be touring the distilleries in a month. I’m so lucky we found Bluegrass Executive! We wanted a special day visiting the bourbon trail for our 10 year anniversary and just didn’t have the time to research much on our own. Chris asked basic questions about what we like and proposed a “hypothetical” itinerary for our day, which was absolutely perfect for us. We had the best time! Our guide Chris was very friendly and knows the area extremely well. From helping us plan and review our itinerary and logistics to suggesting things we had not even considered he was invaluable to making our trip memorable and fun. We had an amazing time. Tours, tastings, great food, speakeasy, cigar lounges, local history, and the Bourbon industry he was fantastic. He even took us to a few places to find those hard-to-find labels everyone is looking for.
