Finding a great dentist for kids can be a challenge, especially when they’re not fans of the dentist’s chair. Unfortunately, my little one is prone to cavities, and we’ve been to several dental offices where we felt more like a paycheck than actual patients. Many dentists immediately pushed for sedation at an extremely young age, often taking an overly aggressive approach, trying to do as much work in one sitting as possible. That didn’t sit right with us. Then we found Dr. Emma Hanson at Boardwalk Dental, and everything changed. She took the time to walk us through every possible option—far more than we even knew existed. Over the past year, my child has had multiple visits, and each time, Dr. Hanson and her team have made us feel completely comfortable. There is absolutely no shame or judgment—just genuine care and expertise. Her love for working with kids is undeniable. My child went from crying and dreading the dentist to feeling calm and relaxed in her care. We trust Dr. Hanson with everything she recommends, and we are so grateful to have found her! I would’ve never thought I would care so much about where I go for dental care but Boardwalk set the bar so high that I will not go anywhere else. I have been going here since I was a child & they made sure to make every experience a fantastic one, even as a kid with horrible teeth. I now live 2.5 hours away & will absolutely make the drive to see them, because I can fully trust that they are going to do right by me every time i’m in the chair. Boardwalk is a prime case study for excellent client service - walking in there I am always greeted by folks who are excited to see me, & even though they see tons of patients, they remember to ask me for updated pictures of my dog, or how my mom is doing. The personal touch in their care is felt in so many different ways, this is just one example. Dr. Dani is not only beyond exceptional at her work, but she is also effortlessly friendly - I always tell folks that I have the coolest dentist around! I trust her wholeheartedly & actually love getting to see her (I know most people don’t like going to the dentist but when yours is as great as her, it’s not bad!) I simply could never say enough amazing things about Boardwalk, I highly, highly recommend (even if you’re not in the area) Thank you Boardwalk team for always providing such excellent care to myself & my family throughout the years, your hard work & support never ceases to amaze me!

While filling out new patient informtion, a woman came into the room and sat down and started chatting with me. She was warm, funny and very engaging. You can't imagine my surprise when I found out she was the dentist. She was so down to earth and lovely. I have since met her daughter and her husband, both of whom are dentists and are just as lovely. I do not mind going to the dentist, but my husband gets a bit anxious. The demeanor of all the people at this practice made him feel quite at ease. It's nice to meet successful people who don't act like they are superior. Kindness costs nothing, but is so priceless.
