However, yesterday, I got a lovely greeting from Brooke Hayward, the realtor we worked with two years ago when we moved to Houston. It was the perfect prompt to write this review finally! Brooke has consistently impressed me with her exceptional service. Over the years, she has sent thoughtful holiday cards that truly stand out. Her deep understanding of clients and unwavering professionalism made our house search a smooth and enjoyable experience. She is amazing and has significantly impacted my life in a new city.

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Star Massing of Boulevard Realty as my realtor during my home purchase, and I cannot say enough about the unparalleled service that she and her team provided. BUYERS BEWARE. The absolute most unethical company in Houston Texas to deal with. Kimberly and Amanda completely misrepresent MLS listings and hide material deficiencies of houses. Please do your due diligence before buying a property listed by this company. They refused to sign our contract offer just so they could continue to hide the myriad of issues on a single home on the Heights and trick a third set of buyers into a house. They did not engage in any fair negotiations and from day one have lied to us and misrepresented why the first buyers deal fell through. My husband and I will be filling a TREC complaint and report as well a Texas Business Bureau complaint because of the lack of professionalism and the intentional misrepresentation with the aim to lock buyers into buying a lemon of a house.

Getting Rose Scharning as our realtor was somewhat serendipitous (story for another day). But Rose is quite simply, a brilliant realtor but more importantly a wonderful, kind, caring person who puts your every need first. Rose has been living in The Heights with her family for decades and therefore is incredibly knowledgeable and well thought of. She helped us move quickly in making an offer on a home just before it hit the market so our offer was accepted before the chance of a bidding war. Unfortunately my husband’s father passed unexpectedly before the closing and Rose was thoughtful as well as astute to reminding us (and all the other players - title, seller agent, etc) when critical items needed to be done so we could still close as planned. Her support didn’t stop with the realtor duties of buying the house, she was filled with recommendations for trusted contractors, landscapers, etc so we could also make our newly purchased house into our home. The only sad part of getting our new house is that we don’t need a realtor anymore, but pleased that my husband and I have gained her as a friend. If you are looking in The Heights, look no further than Rose 🌹
