Jean Bourget, whom I met at the beginning of 2023, promised to help me. Lawyers are called to help and protect their clients. But unfortunately, he did not want and did not do his job. He used public funds that were allocated to him for my defense and assistance for his own selfish purposes. He drove me to court every month and did nothing. I called him twice, he did not even remember that we had another court hearing. Not a serious and decent lawyer. I contacted the Quebec Ministry of Justice with a complaint in 2024. He was suspended from providing legal services for 3 months. He caused me severe damage and fatal losses. All the information that I told him, he passed on to the Prosecutor and she used it against me so that my husband would win. Vindictive. Corrupt. I will demand that a criminal case be opened against him and he be held accountable for failure to provide quality services and deception. Thank you very much Google for letting people speak out when they encounter scammers. I recommend not to contact him, do not waste your time and money.

I contracted with Me Sylvain Boucher in July after meeting twice. I felt confident on my choice with regards to selecting Mr. Boucher for my family law matter. Unfortunately after paying the retainer, nothing has happened on my file for over 4 months now, and repeated emails, asking for an update, an accounting of what has been done and a refund have resulted in no response at all. I'm very disappointed in my experience - this is not how my other legal team in Ontario worked, and I just want my retainer back.
