Customer experiences
I am very thankful for the Career Paths program and for my amazing mentor, Aisha. From the very beginning, she supported me in so many concrete ways: helping me polish my resume and cover letters, preparing me for behavioral interview questions, guiding me through the background check process, and explaining how Canadian workplace culture works. She even reassured me when I doubted myself and celebrated my small achievements along the way. Thanks to this step-by-step support, I not only felt more confident but also achieved real results: I received an offer from my dream company in almost 2 months after arriving in Canada. This is something I never imagined possible when I first started. Aisha is truly professional, patient, and caring, and I feel very lucky to have been matched with her. I would strongly recommend Career Paths and especially highlight the outstanding mentorship Aisha provides.
I’m truly grateful to ISSofBC and feel very lucky to have met such amazing people like Aisha, Liz, and Dianne. Their support went far beyond professional guidance! They helped me believe in myself, encouraged me, and gave me the confidence I needed to start pursuing my career goals here in Canada. Through their dedication and care, I not only felt professionally capable but also personally motivated and inspired. They also introduced me to many valuable resources and programs that I intend to continue using.
Elven Ni is my coach at ISS of BC, I am in the program Career Paths for skills Immigrants. Elven helps me stay motivated and I could en-roll in a certification related to my experience, there are various modules for us like resume preparation, networking and interview skills. Their team is very supportive. I rely on Eleven and their team for support, i can share my problems and he listens to me patiently and motivates me to keep moving ahead. I look forward to start my Career in Canada soon. I feel I am in safe hands.
Empowering, Strategic, and Exceptionally Supportive ISSofBC’s Career Paths program has been a game-changer in helping me navigate a career in the life sciences sector. The team, special thanks to Lilian, is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely invested in your success. They don’t just offer generic advice, but tailor their support to your background, goals, and the realities of the local job market. Highly recommended for newcomers seeking meaningful career direction.
