Customer experiences
Customer service is bad at the Hefner location. I am starting a claim and all I’m getting is gaslighting information and not taking me serious. I stoped here to get an oil change a year ago, I recently went to Volkswagen dealership and had my oil change there. They told me and showed me that the oil pan bolt was stripped and needed to be replaced and that the culprit was the last place that did my oil change. That place was Christian brother automotive on 6801 Hefner rd. Katelyn did tell me to “come in so they can get eyes on it” which is reasonable, the problem is that I live in California. Instead of doing some fact finding and calling the reputable dealership there was no attempt to take ownership and or get to the bottom of this. Honesty and transparency is this business priority but I don’t see the fruit of it. As of now I don’t recommend this business to anyone especially the brothers in Christ. If they are able to take ownership and or deal with this issue I will gladly update this review but as of now I would stay away unless you want to feel gaslighted and not taken seriously.
Raised the price 3 times before they touched my daughter’s vehicle. Called to get a quote. Informed him it was a 2013 Chevy equinox that needed a transmission flush, filter and fluid replace as part of preventative maintenance. Was quoted 162.00. Cool, get her scheduled. My daughter takes the morning off work to deliver and takes an uber to work. They then email saying the exact service we were quoted $162.00 for is now over $400.00. After I spent the 10 minutes on the phone with him telling him this wasn’t right they said they could help by dropping the price to $380.00. We reluctantly agreed to this price even though it was more than double what they had previously quoted. Then 10 minutes later the manager called and said for that $380.00 we would not be receiving a transmission filter. And that they would only flush and fill the transmission for that price. So they wouldn’t do the service we needed done for the price that was 3x higher than they quoted. As a small business owner in the service industry I 100% know that mistakes can and will be made. But you have to honor what you or your employees say. Not every invoice will be a “winner” sometimes you just do what’s right because it’s the right thing to do. I am certain Christian brothers just used a predatory tactic to get us in the doors and then repeatedly raised the price. I cannot understand how a business can remain open when doing this to people. If you decide to use them just know they will probably do this to you as well.
Took my car here because it was leaking antifreeze. They said I needed a new radiator. Got the radiator car was still leaking antifreeze they said I needed new coolant lines. I got two separate opinions after that both saying I needed a water pump. Well getting my new water pump they said my coolant lines were just fine. It saved me $1,000 I will definitely not be taking my car here again
I have a 2012 Chevrolet (Holden) Caprice PPV (Police Pursuit Vehicle) I bought it in 2022, and have had the engine rebuilt, the front bumper, radiator, and exhaust replaced, plus other minor repairs, and had the word "POLICE" taken off the hood. But in July of 2024, suddenly the brake light came on, cruise control stopped working, and the car had no power! 2 repair shops checked it out but could not diagnose or repair it. One shop said it was an electronic issue not a mechanical one, but an auto electric shop could not find any problem. HOWEVER: Christian Brothers discovered there were 2 issues. One mechanical, and one electronic. The brake master cylinder reservoir had a faulty relay, AND the drivers side rear speed sensor was failing. They diagnosed and repaired it swiftly. Now no warning lights remain lit on the instrument cluster. The cruise is functional, and best of all, full power has returned. Christian Brothers did an amazing job, at a fair price. I also have a 1981 Thunderbird which they worked on when I moved here. They adjusted the carburetor for Oklahoma and the T-Bird is still running Great! I would highly recommend CB Auto for anyone with car issues. Old or New cars, they will get it done right! Sincerely, AndrewJohn Boughter USARMY (Retired)
