My father had them bring out some gravel for his driveway. He instructed them to spread the gravel around the entire driveway which the driver said he could do. But he dumps the gravel too slowly and piles it unevenly 5 to 10 inches deep on half the drive, leaving the rest a dirt track. He gives my father some story about how he was afraid the truck was going to tip over and asked him to finish it. I complained to Mr. Bailes that no one has ever had problems dumping on our drive before and of them asking an 83 year old man to finish spreading the gravel and was rudely informed how they don't guarantee spreading the gravel and they'd have to charge extra to do it. He also had the nerve to tell me I wasn't 83 years old! I told him I've already wasted my entire weekend trying to shovel the high spots enough to drive the car through that mess. He told me to use a tractor. I don't have one nor the money to hire someone. These people are very unprofessional and have no consideration for anyone. I half suspect they did this in hopes we'd pay extra to have it done right. I'd recommend looking elsewhere unless you're willing spend lots of time and money fixing their mistake.

One of their trucks almost caused a severe wreck on 274, the speed limit is in place for a reason!! Red lights are not optional as this guy found out, locked up every break he has on his truck smoked the whole area out. Maybe your employees should get to work a little earlier or you should make their routes more efficient so they don't feel the need to be reckless on the highways.

I bought lots of gravels plus crush and run from this C A Bailes Trucking Company" and I love it" I wouldn't change a thing they have always been fair with their prices and they do good work, Whenever I call for a load they are always on time The guys are always kind to me, and Very respectful!!!
