Nice standard hotel with a good beach just outside the door. A good amount of chairs and beds on the beach and beach towels by the pool. Ok sized pool with pool-bar for those thirsty (and with thick wallet). We had a standard room so it was like Holiday Inn or normal European budget hotel (Small rooms compare to similar standard hotel in bigger cities in Asia). As you anyway do not stay in room for other than sleep it is enough. Beds are comfortable. Personnel listen to our request and arrange twin bed for me and my son. Note that there are building work going on next to the hotel meaning early mornings until late evenings building sounds, Mon-Sat. Easily disturbing for someone wanting a quiet day at the beach. If you want a quiet relaxing time make sure the buildings around are finalised before you go. |Breakfast with a good choice of different stuff enough to satisfy even experienced travellers. Menu in restaurant a bit slim but food ok and possibility to also have a buffet with a great variety. |Personnel friendly and helpful at front desk. Arranging rides and taxis very well working and there is a free shuttle bus of good quality going to the Dubai mall and back several times a day. Taxi is affordable so if you miss the buss it is no problem. |Be careful with booking tours from hotel. The representative of a certain relatively big tour provider with a desk/stand in hotel promised the best price available but when checking online for exactly same tour the price was more than 30% lower. Confronting the person, he tried to excuse himself and lowered the price. I do not like to bargain or get screwed so I decide to not use or recommend this tour provider from hotel. I am sure the tours are fully OK but due to person at service desk i decided not to book anything from him. Take a brochure from the stand and book what you want yourself. It is very simple and you save a big buck for something else, you get exactly same product and service and you do not have feel that they screw you.||This is a good standard hotel. 3 -4 stars i would say is most correct rating.

Booked 4 nights for roughly 1300gbp as the "all inclusive". Communicated to the hotel my partner is 27 weeks pregnant, and booked from the Tuesday night despite a 1am arrival.||As we'd missed the evening meal, they offered us burger and chips but we just wanted a cold water after travelling 12 hrs. They told us they weren't allowed to serve us any drinks as our all inclusive wouldn't start until the morning. All we had was two room temp bottles of water in the room. Not even a jug of water at reception. ||The room was clean internally. Food was quite basic. Areas around the pool weren't as well maintained - lots of chairs with bird poo, plates not cleaned swiftly, running out of towels at 1030am. We weren't allowed umbrellas up one day due to winds, despite there being umbrellas up around the staff areas. ||Final night we were up from 4am due to a vibration sound in our room. Called porter and maintenance team and they said it was the AC (which eas off), and said all they could do was offer a new room in the morning (day of departure?!).||I couldn't go back to sleep, so went out for sunrise and pregnant partner napped on the balcony.||Fed thus back at check out, they said there was no notes on the system. Complained to Booking.com who took it up with the hotel and said that the case was solved at 4am and there were no further complaints from us - no refund or comp due.||I was dubious about this hotel when booking due to some interesting reviews from TA members with only that single review. ||Trust your gut for this one.
