Customer experiences
The food was fresh and tasted good. When I ordered it was clear most things had bread and could not be substituted. If youāre gluten free this place does not have many options. The coffee was tasty so I would come back for that.
Iāve been there a couple of times and really liked it. The paninis were great, and the shakshuka was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. Itās a cozy, clean spot thatās perfect for reading or getting some work done. The prices are fair too, especially for the quality and vibe.
TLDR: a SUPER cute cafe with tasty coffee, aƧaĆ bowls and breakfast sandwiches (and more) in a beautifully decorated and quiet atmosphere. The perfect place to catch up with your bestie over a cup of Kurdish coffee āļø We ordered a āBrewed Coffeeā and an Anericano. Both were super good and rich in flavor- and super hot, which is always good in my opinion. We also ordered an AƧaĆ Bowl (organic aƧaĆ, mixed berries, mango, blue agave and coconut milk, topped w/peanut butter + granola)- my friend said it was very good and was pleased that she had ordered it. I ordered the Avocado and mozzarella sandwich(Avocado mash, fresh mozzarella, pesto aioli) which came with a side salad. I felt healthy but was also so pleased with the richness of the cheese and avocado, that I didnāt feel like I was missing out on some sweets or something š¤£. The service was great and the staff was willing and advocating. The decor was beautiful and nostalgic feeling and made me feel like I was experiencing something bougie yet comfortable. Will definitely return when Iām in the area.
Iāve stopped by Cafe de Miro twice now, and Iāve been quite happy with it. The first time I just tried their turmeric chai, but the second time I tried the egg sujok with Kurdish tea. All of the items were delicious and made fresh, and the sujok sausage is very flavorful. They donāt skimp on portions either. The cafe itself looks quite nice, and I could see spending some time reading or working here. Their menu also has a decent number of vegetarian items, so it should be okay for vegetarians too. I wouldnāt hesitate to recommend Cafe de Miro to most people.
