We took the Treme/Black Code Tour with the Cajun Queen, and she definitely threw in some lagniappe! This was so much better than walking and standing for extended durations and was relaxing yet exciting and informative. She has such a sweet spirit, and her love for her home and her roots shines through. We chose this tour because I wanted to know more about the less talked about history, good and bad, and the contributions and overcome struggles of the black people who so significantly contributed to New Orleans.

During prior visits, I was able to experience a variety of tours from multiple guides, but the Cajun Queen was by far the best! As a born and bred native, she cleverly weaves tales of history, including intriguing stories that provide insight into the notorious figures that have helped to shape New Orleans into the lively city that it is, and she also gives you glimpses of the ghosts that refused to leave. I learned so much about a place that I thought that I knew so well. I highly recommend any of the Cajun Queen’s tours! It’s a great way to rediscover a city you love - or fall in love with New Orleans for the first time 💕

Great way to relax and enjoy an informative tour of New Orleans. The Cajun Queen showed us parts of New Orleans we would have never ventured to on foot. My friend even stopped for a reading along the way. Would definitely recommend The Cajun Queen for an unforgettable experience!!
