Calgary Tours

We just finished a 6-day small group tour to Banff and Jasper with Calgary Tours, and it was a truly wonderful experience! Especially thanks to our tour guide and driver, Robert Liu, who accompanied us through the trip. He was not only professional but also incredibly humorous and fun, bringing lots of laughter to our journey. He was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and attentive- he shared so many interesting facts about the Rockies, helped us take group photos. You could really feel he loves his job and cares about the guests. The itinerary was well organized, and each stop had plenty of time to enjoy and explore. Would definitely travel with them again! Thank you again, Robert - you’re the best!

I took a 6 days trip with Calgary tours. All tour guides are friendly, patient, and nice. Allen and David provided lots of details for the scenic points. All breakfast and lunch are great, and big portion. Hotels are comfortable. Maybe the only hope is, if the tour could extend the stay time a bit for some scenic points. And please notify customers tour guides contact information or who will pick up the customers in the morning. I was worried missing my tour guide on a specific day and had to call emergency number as I donot know who is the one will pick me up and the guide phone number. Overall, the trip is wonderful and I love it!

My husband and I took the 4-Day Rockies Special Tour | Banff, Jasper & Yoho National Park this August. The trip was very well organized, and we were able to visit many beautiful sites. We were also lucky to spot some wildlife along the road, including black bears, a grizzly, elk, a nesting bald eagle, and a few smaller mammals. The hotels provided were very clean, comfortable, and served great food. Overall, we are very happy with the company and the tour. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I do have one suggestion regarding the Wildlife Photography Tour (which we joined as part of the larger package). The timing of this tour in August was not ideal. By the time we reached the wildlife viewing areas, the sun had already set, making it too dark to spot animals. Even Vermilion Lakes, which are supposed to glow reddish at dusk, were barely visible. This tour would benefit from better scheduling, with earlier start times in August and September. While June and July may work well with the current timing, later months clearly require adjustments to maximize wildlife sightings. Other than that, we have no suggestions for improvement.
