Making what I think is my first ever google review because I’m so frustrated by how I was treated here. My doctor has been sending in a prescription only for me to find when I try to pick it up from the pharmacy that it’s out of stock, so I’ve been calling ahead first to make sure the pharmacy has it before I ask my doctor to send it. I’ve done that at several places with no problem. When I called here the pharmacist snapped at me, accusing me of trying to get information that she “obviously” could not give out (despite the fact that many other private and chain pharmacies were happy to do so), and hung up on me mid-sentence when I was trying to respond. I understand that these stores have to think about theft and security concerns but seriously, it’s a customer-facing business and that kind of nastiness is so unnecessary and just adds another layer of misery to the already dehumanizing experience of trying to get healthcare in this country. Ugh.

A couple of years ago Elm Drugs Pharmacy became my favorite. Since then I've been their loyal customer and I don't want to change it. It is not a big pharmacy, but has all regular pharmacy service (vaccinations including). This pharmacy works great and very productive. The staff is friendly and very helpful, always doing my refills on time and get in touch to remind me about it, offering quick delivery (next day) or giving the option to pick it up by myself. Convenient location and the food mini market they are located at definitely deserves attention. It is one of the most specific food mini market in Manhattan, packed with healthy/organic/natural all kind of stuff, even selling healthy snacks/sandwiches/wraps/soups and great organic vegetables/fruits/dairy/cereals/coffee beans etc. 5 stars from me and a big thank you for your nice work and always good impression/experience doing business with you. I almost forgot to mention their website, you should definitely see it, it deserves attention.

Probably one of the most unreliable pharmacies in NYC for delivery. Had multiple packages go missing over the course of several years and if you call them to find out what happened to your medication, they blame YOU.

I wish I could Gatekeep this place but the staff is so friendly and helpful about all of your nutrition needs. The pharmacy is always efficient and orderly. The security at the front always notices regulars from new faces. 10/10
