Ang is amazing! I started Pilates with her as I was looking to improve my functional strength and to avoid injury. I was frustrated with frequent injuries and an overall sense of not trusting my body in perimenopause. Working with Ang turned everything around for me! I feel stronger and more confident and I’m working through range of motion in my shoulders and low back that I didn’t think I’d ever get back. My favourite part about our sessions is that Ang listens and incorporates new work when and as my body needs it, allowing me to see improvement without going too far, too fast. I recommend Ang to anyone who wants to feel better in their body, to learn something super cool (Pilates) in a judgement-free environment, and to give something back to themselves that they may have felt they’d lost. I wish every woman could have Ang 1:1, every day!
Pilates with Ang has been a joyful and truly important part of my postnatal to postpartum experience. When I was pregnant, I wanted to keep active in a safe and healthy way, and honestly I had no idea how much it would also help during actual labour, too. I genuinely believe that the work I did with Ang, especially developing a strong mind-body connection, was vital in helping me navigate some really demanding moments during labour, both physically and emotionally. Postpartum pilates has been essential as well! Ang’s expertise and passion for Pilates is truly unmatched as is her awesome balance of calm, humour and warmth. I genuinely look forward to each session, and it feels so good to be rebuilding strength and confidence that allows me to return to other activities I love, too. I cannot recommend Pilates with Ang more highly to anyone, and definitely for postnatal prep and postpartum recovery. You will absolutely love dedicating this time to yourself (and your baby!)
Ang is simply the best! She is so good at inspiring, empowering and engaging. She created an online community of women that shared and learned how to support ourselves and each other. The Revive and Thrive Program was perfect- the perfect pace, variety and content. The topics and resources were so valuable. I’m so grateful to have found Ang, to have learned from her, and to have learned to make time and space for myself. Once you get started you will notice how important movement and nutrition are and how little changes can have a big impact on your mindset and wellbeing. Thanks for sharing your positive vibes and empowering the first of many groups of women to benefit from this program : )
I was seeing Mallory, my osteopath and she recommended Ang, which I was so happy for. I had worked out quite a lot in my 20's and 30's, into my 40's but was injured in my late 30's which stopped me from getting the results I used to. I knew I wouldn't necessarily get back to lifting free weights just yet so Pilates was a great option to try as I knew I would build muscle and strength overall. In studio, I felt amazing. One workout with you a week set me up for the rest of my workouts. I do feel more aware of how I carry my body, my posture and my pain has improved. I feel energized and tall, if that makes sense. Stronger. My mood improves. I felt safe and supported working with Ang in studio. She is really good at pivoting the workout depending on my physical stature that day. Sometimes she could navigate the stress right out by being patient and informative. Always reminding me that any movement is good and not to be to hard on myself. I can count on feeling like I have worked my body without injuring myself. Challenging and reviving and FUN! Ang is not a one size fits all. She pivots when you need her to, sometimes without you even knowing that you need to. She is intuitive and understands your physiology because she takes the time to study your movements. She is extremely educated and professional but brings a really personal touch. NO judgement in her studio, only support!
