They came prepared With extra equipment and supplies and unfortunately, they needed to do more repairs than a simple fix but they got it all done efficiently to replacethe condenser and evaporator on a 30 yr old product. As an addendum please be aware, this is the ONLY authorized sub zero repair available in this area. The labor costs are evidently also authorized by SubZero and came out to $500 an hour. Pleased they were of service but Ouch!

I’ve learned a valuable lesson. Never ever call a company who “advertises” on Google or the internet that they repair subzero refrigerators. I fell prey to this scam, not once but twice, while trying to repair the freezer in my 25 year old subzero 650. The 1st scam repair guy installed not one, but two new circuit boards incorrectly (as I later learned). When the freezer wouldn’t work, he shrugged his shoulders and said it couldn’t be repaired, I needed to buy a new subzero. The 2nd scam repair guy had me call subzero for parts after spending 2 hours looking at everything with his headlight in his head. (Very serious looking indeed). Upon calling subzero, they recommended I use a certified subzero repair service, CNW. Since I was afraid it might cost more, I proceeded with 2nd scam repair guy. BIG MISTAKE. 3 visits and more parts later, the freezer still wasn’t working. Out of frustration and losing my patience, I finally called CNW to schedule a service call. OMG! The scheduler was polite and warm and kind and sent Ed, a tech with 30 years experience, to my home the following morning!! Within 30 minutes, Ed had the problem diagnosed!! Scam repair #1 and #2 had me order new circuit boards not once, but twice. AND both of these scammers installed the board without reading the directions and removing specific resistors. IT WAS AS SIMPLE AS THAT. I have been without a freezer for six months because I was told, ma’m I don’t know what to tell you, it can’t be repaired, you need a new subzero. I spent thousands of dollars with these scam companies. It’s disappointing to find the problem was such an easy fix, handled within 30 minutes of Ed’s arrival. Thank you Ed and CNW for your prompt, professional service. Ed, you have hero status with me!!! Homeowner beware! Avoid the headache and trauma by calling CNW, the ONLY certified subzero repair in the area. The price for CNW repair was affordable compared to what I paid the scammers with no results.
