Every beer at Canvas Brewing was executed perfectly — not a single miss among the 13+ on tap. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and Jolene in particular was fantastic. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and to top it off, the fried chicken truck next door is super tasty. Can’t wait to come back!
Loved it. Delicious “bar snacks” Great assortment of a variety of beers. The Amber was the home-run (and the spinach drip, and yiuve hoots get the pretzel …ok, and the chicken bbq flatbread). Service good. Swag good! Patio 10/10 but also seating inside if you want it cool.
Canvas Brewing in Huntsville is sited across from the iconic Moose FM (105.5) radio station. The brewery has a lovely, quiet roadside patio and a delightfully situated rooftop patio. Their Core flight of 6 brews is excellent value for money and offers a cross-section of flavours. It includes their Original kolsch; the Last Light, a Moosehead-like lager; Ember, a light, toffee flavoured dark red ale; Backtrail, which is their crisp, citrus flavoured pale ale has a delayed mild bitterness; Horizon, a hazy IPA has been muzzled, and is gentle on the tastebuds, much like a sweeter grapefruit; the Thunderhead West Coast IPA is much more confrontational, though with a well-balanced bitterness.
