Canyon Construction did an amazing job restoring our house and converting an existing storage room attached to our garage that had been severely damaged by a falling large tree (due to Hurricane Harvey) into a master bath that has access to our decks and to a pool we are currently building. Keep in mind that the portion of the house repaired required new exterior framing and a new roof as it had completely collapsed. It also required all new plumbing being extended to that area, which meant digging into the existing concrete flooring. The new master bathroom includes a walk-in closet, stackable washer/dryer closet, a separate washroom, a glass enclosed and large seamless walk-in shower, a mid-century modern tub for the kids, floating counter & sinks with a backlit mirror, and multiple windows (overlooking the backyard and northwest hills) - all built with a very modern look that flows well with our 1968 ranch style home; and it was all well insulated. Calvin, the owner, is very responsive and does a very good job of keeping you informed with every aspect of the job, and with challenges as they arise. He also coordinated architectural services and filed the plans with the City of Austin permitting office, which also required periodic reviews of the construction. Additionally, we were required to upgrade our electric panel, so he informed us of all of the required and upgraded options. Lastly, their quote and billing process are available online allowing for full transparency of every aspect of the job with plenty of details including fixture selections and price options. I will definitely use Canyon Construction for additional remodeling in the future!
