Concerning progressive and Carlin Insurance: Do not use them...they will take your money and drop you. I had 2 roadside assistance within 30 days (unlock vehicle-no accident) and they dropped my insurance claiming I violated their policy. This is not in their policy. It says 7 tows in a 6 month time frame. It says nothing about vehicle lock outs. I paid $261.00 to start this policy and that was July 3, 2024 and my first payment was August 3, 2024 which was 86.00 this wasn't my regular premium which was 136.00(there was change with these amounts). Progressive said I violated their policy which was automatic cancelation on July 27, 2024. Now I was unaware and was not told this until I found out on the 17th of August 2024. When my payment was due on August 3, 2024 I went to progressive 's mobile app and verified that my payment indeed had been made and I also verified this with the bank. (I don't trust computers)My progressive mobile app had no messages stating they had cancelled my policy. When I called them they lied to me stating they had mailed the cancellation which I did not receive. They informed me they cancelled my policy on August 5, 2024 which was 2 days after my payment had been made and only returned $100.00 back to my bank account on August 17, 2024. My insurance agent said he would call me back and gives me the run around. Now the insurance companies now evidently have free reign because we don't have a government that cannot handle making people responsible for making people poor. The government in fact has helped the poor get poorer. Avoid progressive. And by the way they told me their corporate office was in Ohio...and that just figures.
