Carmel Inn

Decided to give this place a try as reviews had it ranking well for places to stay in Hope! Check in was quick and easy with the clerk showing us where our room was! Room #1 had 2 bedrooms and had been recently renovated! Everything was clean and tidy! There was a full size fridge, dishes, cutlery, 60 inch TV. Nowhere to hang anything in the main living area, but the bedroom had a small table and hanging rack! Good water pressure in the shower, close to amenities, priced decently! The pillows were a but soft for me, but that's a personal preference! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.!

Very friendly pwners/staff. Clean rooms. I booked a double queen room . It had a kitchen with stove and fridge. Frying pans and utensils. Grocery store next door. Itt is a 2 min walk to a wonderful restaurant. Very convenient location. If I travel back this way I'll definitely stay again. Comfortable beds and large room. The bathroom is small still a lovely stay. Thabk you for the wonderful evening. Also there was a card on the bed welcoming us and told us of the weather for the next day.

We stopped overnight at the Mountain View Hope Motel on the way from Vancouver. This looks to be a refurbished motel, and in our opinion, the work is well done. There are bits of the old left that is clean & functional, the new features & amenities give a bright fresh, modern feeling as you enter the room. We liked the comfy beds, fresh towels & sheets, Keurig coffee maker, big TV, full sized fridge & clean vinyl floors. And the giant shower head with great water pressure. Other details like funky light fixtures & sparkly mirrors, blinds, curtains and unexpected toiletries add to the comfort. The two young men we met at checkin are a delight; friendly, smiling & helpful. This will now be our stopover of choice on our frequent trips to the coast. Overall, friendly, clean, great value, well located, well kept property.
