We initially chose this firm because of their appealing proposal, but it quickly turned into a frustrating and costly experience. The project went over budget by almost 50%, and when we asked for clarification, we were told the overage was due to “additional requests” we supposedly made. However, when we requested a review of the initial project call to verify these “extras,” they outright refused to go over the recording. The drawings provided were riddled with errors and lacked the clarity needed for smooth execution. They consistently overlooked standard practices: windows weren’t centered or properly spaced from walls, bathrooms were misaligned with key features like windows, and second-floor windows were incorrectly labeled as "Egress" (see pics). These issues made the builder’s job unnecessarily difficult, adding more delays and costs to our project. On top of this, communication was exhausting. Each time we raised valid questions about their designs, we were met with condescension and a lecture about “respect”—a sentiment often repeated by Terry, the owner, instead of addressing our concerns. In the end, we were forced to find another architect to salvage the project. If you value transparency, quality work, and respectful communication, steer clear of this firm. We would absolutely not recommend them to anyone. Note: I wouldn't trust most of the other reviews, I've seen a few from relatives of the Owner.
