Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal

TSA agents were sooooo nice and helpful! But the old blonde lady who checked American Airlines bags in was the rudest person I have ever interacted with at any airport. She refused to check bags for 7 people because they didn’t show up 2 hours early. It was still more than an hour before the flight and just kept say, “Too bad, should have gotten here 2 hours early” which is kind of crazy to do for such a small airport. Her customer service skills were nonexistent. Thank goodness for the TSA agents who let us through and check our bags at the gate, they were absolute angels!

Nice quaint, airport. I frequent this airport and like the building and lay out itself. The working staff are pleasant and provide good customer service. The TSA is very efficient and consistent. The airport has a very open and clean inviting atmosphere. Everyone working I come across are so pleasant and friendly.

This sure is a very nice, small, regional airport. The staff was very nice. The people working for the airline were very helpful. The ladies working in the restaurant were very nice and responsive. The people who were working the rental car desk were helpful and efficient. Everything is very convenient. There is only one area with baggage claim and the rental car desks right by one another. The airport is very easily accessible by car. Having flown in and out of many large airports, the Central Illinois Regional Airport is a really charming alternative.
