This is the worst practice, everyone at Waterford is rude. I was hoping Village would be different, but I'll never know. My NP moved from Vital Care to Midlothian Family and I called to try to get set up with her before her books get full and I get the recording hold times are extended and I am TWENTY FOURTH in line.. HOW? Do you not have anyone answering the phones? Really upset I won't be able to see my favorite NP anymore but that is totally unacceptable.. If I was calling for a sick appointment and had over 20 people in line ahead of me I would be even more upset. This place has been in business long enough to get their crap together, so if it hasn't happened by now it never will.
Initial visit for my husband for a physical was good and then our insurance statement came in and showed charges for both a physical and a doctor’s visit. After speaking with billing I was told that if you are a new patient and are currently on medication that the doctor is now in charge of your meds and they charge a physician care visit also. Also, if you bring up any issues you might be having at the physical (even if the doctor doesn’t help with the problem) they also charge for a care visit. So not only is your insurance charged for a physical but also a care visit and you now owe a co-pay. My husband and I have different new doctor offices since our prior doctor retired. My new doctor’s office does NOT do this. I was told by my husband’s new office that “well this practice does”. Can this possibly be ethical if this is not medically practiced throughout the field?
They must pay their front desk staff the absolute bare minimum as nobody ever answers the phone. When they do, they are very rude. When you come in, they don’t even look at you either. How does this practice manage to stay open? These reviews have to be horribly embarrassing to whomever owns this practice. Will have to find another.
