I recently had the pleasure of working with Nikki and Imogen from Winkworth, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, they were exceptional—professional, proactive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. Nikki’s communication was always clear, timely, and reassuring. She consistently went the extra mile to make sure every detail was handled smoothly and kept me updated at every stage. Imogen was equally outstanding—knowledgeable, efficient, and incredibly supportive. Together, they made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless and well-managed. Their attention to detail, friendly approach, and dedication to achieving the best outcome truly set them apart. If you’re looking for an estate agency team that combines expertise with a personal touch, Nikki and Imogen are the perfect choice. A five-star experience from start to finish.

Winkworth did sell our house — but let’s be honest, any agent could have. It was a lovely home that sold from a basic Rightmove enquiry. When I complained about the awful service, their response was basically “well, we found you a buyer.” Arrogant and dismissive sums it up. The only reason we used them was because they had the house we wanted. If you want an agent who will actually respect you and support you, go to Hayward Fox or Collins & Butler We have previously dealt with both, and the service was great! The service was shocking: rude and aggressive phone calls (the manager even asked us to hand £5,000 back to the vendor after exchange!), constant miscommunication, and zero professionalism. We spent the whole process chasing them. I feel that because we weren’t an old couple they could mislead and manipulate- they didn’t like it at all. When I called out certain things - they literally just ignored me or told me to call as they didn’t want to put things in email. You don’t pay thousands just for someone to upload your home to Rightmove — you pay for good service. Winkworth failed completely. We’ve told our new neighbours (who are planning to sell soon) about our experience and it’s put them off using Winkworth altogether. I would definitely avoid them at all costs if you can!

The service we had from Winkworth from the start to finish was fabulous. We listed with Winkworth initially because the house we wanted was listed with them, and I am so glad we did. They kept us informed of at all steps in the process. They provided feedback we received from viewings - no matter how silly some of the feedback was. They communicated with us and all people (buyers, sellers, mortgage advisors, surveyors and solicitors) in the chain and helped to move things along when we honestly felt like things were grinding to a halt and I was ready to give up on our buyers. Moving is was a very stressful process, but, Nikki, Immogen and Hannah made it that much less stressful.

I had the pleasure of using Winkworth in Milford-on-Sea to sell my deceased aunt's house. Chris, Nikki and Imogen were efficient, time sensitive and worked extremely hard to get this sale completed. Attention to detail on particulars and photographs was excellent, as was the communication. My buyers were obstructive and confrontational at every turn. This sale took quite some wrangling! Luckily we got there in the end, even after I was forced to reduce the asking price by ÂŁ5000 to cover house clearance costs. The purchasers also failed to post the (agreed upon, I have the email chain!) ÂŁ5000 deposit when the sale was agreed, to ensure exchange by a specific date. All in all this was not an easy or fast process, but without this team at Winkworth I would have pulled out of the sale completely at the first instance of nonsense purchaser behaviour. Thank you so much. To any potential clients out there, please see past the tantrum review below.
