Customer experiences
My favourite pizza place so far! I always get the pepperoni. Not too greasy, and each time I leave instructions (always want a little less sauce than normal) they’re great with accommodating my request! Not just this location but Langley and New West as well. Haven’t gone to Broadway location yet. Highly recommend!!!
Got the Four Formaggi (four cheese) and pepperoni pizzas. The cheese pizza was bland, with more tomato flavor than cheese. The pepperoni was also mid. The four cheese pizza had this dark spot on only one of the slices, which they claimed is the gorgonzola cheese. I'm not entirely convinced, since there was only one spot on the entire pizza, and even if true it means we barely got any of it despite it being a "four" cheese pizza. Service is also lacking. I called to ask about the cheese due to how strange the sole dark spot was. They hung up on me partway through the first call. When I called them again, the person on the line refused any method of sending them pictures for assurance on if it was bad. They were silent for the majority of the 2nd call without any mention of putting me on hold or similar, and also ending in them hanging up on me. They then called me back with a new person on the line shortly after, who gave me a number to WhatsApp the photos. They said that it was normal, but when asked about how there was only one such dot on the whole pizza they said that they do not usually put much gorgonzola on their pizzas due to it being sour? He had a much better attitude at least, but I'm not sure how much to trust them now given the first 2 calls. Overall a pretty bad experience with the bland pizzas and the strangely colored dot of cheese. Needless to say, would not go again.
Definitely getting the full pie freshly made is the way to go 🍕🍕🍕✨️🌈... slices arent bad here, either. Currently obsessed with their Spinata pie... really good and delicious crust here...perfectly cooked and proofed💯💕. Much better pizza and value than Apizza down the street and staff is nicer, as well 💯 🍕🍕🍕
I was reading reviews on this pizza place and saw a lot of bad comments. This used to be the best pizza on Commercial Dr. Used to be owned and run by a Turkish team and the pizza was just great (for those who like thin crust Neapolitan style pizza)! I had had their slices (always fresh) and taken whole pizzas home and was always happy. Then one day (about a year or so ago) I went in and suddenly noticed a strong smell of grease and home made Indian food instead of pizza. The wooden wall decor and counter was gone and a bland interior had replaced it. No sign of the Turks and these Indian guys had taken over. The pizza slices looked stale (at around 1-2pm) and the smell just killed my appetite. Don’t get me wrong: I love Indian cooking as much but the smell just didn’t belong there. I left and never went back. I’m wondering why someone who won’t eat Italian meats buys a successful business to ruin?! You either adapt to the different cultures or go do your own thing. Your cultural clash kills the business. I’m so sorry for the outcome but if only they had kept the quality of food and service the same maybe there wouldn’t be this many unsatisfied customers.
