I have had multiple issues with both my agent and customer service being extremely rude to me. I had to move to Ohio for work and when I asked my agent if CIA could help me transfer my policy down there, I was told I just needed to find someone else (a different representative who took my call said my agent would help me find a new broker prior to this). Then when I had changed insurance, a customer service agent was rude to me again when I called back on a different agent's request to provide my new address for the refund check to be sent to. He was annoyed because my mail forwarding was already set up and this was "a waste of time". Finally, I was sent a letter about a payment coming out this month for my policy, which I had cancelled, so I had to call back again today. Turns out my refund was being sent directly electronically, which has taken over a week to do, and the policies were effectively cancelled. I highly recommend you avoid this company! Extremely unprofessional depending on who you talk to.
