I was at another Oxnard mod. Lg church, then Covid hit, but prior there were changes happening, and my age group were leaving. Anyway the Church is spiritual filled, pastors awesome. Then Covid hit, and many were gone. So many health struggles hit my husband, and I taking care of him, I was not attending, not feeding my self with reading the Bible, etc. We stopped going to church. Then went to another church to try to get our spiritual health back on track, hubby got worse, it was hard to leave hubby, I am a nurse and work some Sundays. My spiritual health dwindled more. I felt so spirituality empty, I didn’t like how I was handling my struggles and emotions in this struggle without God. And I should know better, but I’m human. I became weak, I didn’t have the power and strength from the Holy Spirit. So I started being consistent on my Bible App. I asked Jesus to help me, I started seeking and praying. Then my sister invited me to City Church. The first visit was on tithing and I was encouraged and felt a little more stronger by Pastor Jude’s teaching on tithing, and it brought back so much memories to give, God changed me years ago through tithing. I have gone to three more services since, the teachings are on the Holy Spirit right now. Pastor Jude is a preacher teacher, he is lead by the Spirit of God. And I am so grateful to my Lord because he knew I was struggling. But it wasn’t till I reached out to him to help me first. Then my Lord open med doors brought me to the place I am now. Though I am not complete, I am back in the process of finding my purpose in His Glory. I am so done just treading water with my head above water. I am ready to live fully in the Glory and finding my purpose again. Thank you God that you showed my sister to invite me to City Church.

I’ve been at City church for 5 years now and there is nothing like it. Going through stuff, when you give even a little to the community you’ll get so much out of it. The most genuine people! Will be attending for years to come!

This first time I visited the church I immediately felt at home because the community is so welcoming! I look forward to Sunday’s here as well as their Thursday prayer service.
