Clarysville Motel

This stay was NOT at all what I expected from the pictures online. The room was bare bones and seemed like it was in the process of being renovated. It’s supposed to be a non smoking room but it smells ALOT like cigarettes. I’m tempted to just leave and get a refund. I’ve tried sprays and that doesn’t work. I can literally taste the particles from cigarette smoke on my lips. Guests smoke right outside the rooms then come back in. The smoke also comes through the vents and outlets. Sadly, The bed sinks in the middle…that’s awful for a good nights sleep. I’m likely not going to choose this location again.

We got 4 rooms, we were staying for m3 music festival. Check in was easy the people were nice. The rooms were ok. I definitely did see a few roaches. The rooms had refrigerators and microwaves. They didn't all work well. The one room the microwave was pretty disgusting, like it has not been cleaned in awhile. They didn't all have bed spreads. Some just a blanket. My sister got bit on her leg and ankle while she was sleeping. Not sure what bit her, but I swelled up pretty bad for the entire 4 days there. The property was pretty dirty and it seemed like a lot of the rooms ppl lived in. Which is probably why there are bugs. We won't ho back next year. But for the price I guess it was fine

I have been coming here for years, 10 to be exact. The new management that took over "Travelodge" is awful. When it was Knights Inn i never had any issues. I checked into a room yesterday and for the first time at this location, the receptionist was aggressively rude. I accidentally slid my DL across the counter 'too fast' and the girl became enraged. She berated me about respect and mansplained how to give her the ID. I literally told her "sorry it was an accident" 3 times and this witch kept on arguing. I even told her 3x that I didn't want to argue with her and she continues to keep whining. I never understood when a man says "women want the last word" but now I totally understand. This girl is literally the personification of male bias. It was absolutely horrific to meet this child. i tried multiple times to diffuse her enragement but nothing worked. I'm a woman too and I never behave like this. Accidents happen, people say sorry. The end. The old management knows me and would have never been this worked up over a mistake. I've spend hundreds of dollars here. Because of this arrogant stuck up girl I won't be spending a cent here again. But besides that if you have money go to Motel 6 because they have Cameras everywhere and is more secure than this place. I don't want to make this about race but go see her for yourself and you will absolutely understand why she behaved like this. Any reply by management is considered harassment. Thanks
